Senior Construction Manager

We are looking for a Senior Construction Manager
What you'll do:
- You will achieve results by defining, assigning and delivering work and team objectives through managing others, including direct reports and project contributors.
- Manage multiple trade contractors (including fit out trades, MEP & finishes), labour, materials, logistics, and site interfaces.
- Drive Production Control and Collaborative Planning sessions for interior and finishes works, ensuring alignment with overall project delivery.
- Promote the site safety culture, ensure all works are carried out in planned, controlled and safe manner in accordance with statutory regulations, current standards and company health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Solve site problems when they occur, providing feedback to Project Managers on any defects or defaults found and put forward any innovative ideas to alter current methodology.
- Champion site safety, conduct inductions, toolbox talks, pre-task briefings, and ensure compliance with Skanska’s “Our Way of Working”.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in major commercial building projects - experience with internal packages and finishes would be strongly preferred
- Previous experience of managing multiple trade contractors.
- Be in possession of a current Managers CSCS card and other relevant qualifications including SMSTS.
- Previous experience in working and managing commercial office construction projects.
- Previous experience of managing multiple trade contractors including internal construction packages
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
- Member of, or working towards membership of a professional institution such as MCIOB/ICE is desirable.
