We are currently looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager, who will be responsible for monitoring and verifying the Skanska Building quality strategy is being consistently delivered across all projects. They will be accountable for ensuring Skanska’s quality procedures and processes are implemented across building projects, supporting the achievement of strategic quality objectives and providing assurance that project teams are following the required standards and procedures.

 

As the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will:

 

  • Support the delivery of the Building quality strategy across all projects, ensuring quality requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Assist with Project Quality Plans and maintain key quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, assurance records and quality plans.
  • Manage snagging, defects and non-conformance processes, ensuring issues are tracked, reported and closed out effectively.
  • Coordinate quality audits and support internal and external assurance activities.
  • Investigate significant quality issues to identify root causes and ensure lessons learned are acted upon.
  • Work closely with trade contractors and the supply chain to promote compliant delivery and effective rectification.

 

We are looking for:

 

  • Experience in quality compliance management within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Lead Auditor experience, with CQI Practitioner or Member registration preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001.
  • Experience implementing and managing quality systems and assurance processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across project teams and supply chain partners.
  • Proven capability in audit and inspection management.
  • Strong risk awareness, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
