You will be working in the Building Services OU in Walsall Hospital where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. We are currently looking for a Operations Manager who will ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, leading the operations team in all PPM and reactive works across the Walsall Manor Hospital Site. Ensuring a safe, secure and seamless service is provided to the agreed contractual specifications.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
- Implement and improve the operational systems, processes and policies to facilitate the most effective and efficient operational delivery.
- Play a significant role in tactical delivery of the maintenance plan geared toward operational excellence.
- To manage the financial performance of the delivery team against budget
- To ensure that the operations team effectively allocate works to the site trade teams for delivery whilst understanding and applying all contractual requirements, ensuring that the contract SLAs are met.
- To be a key contact and to build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the operations team and colleagues both within the Skanska team and Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
We are looking for:
- Degree level or equivalent experience within specialism.
- Knowledge of the full range of administrative and organisational policies and procedures
- experience of administrative supervision
- A high-level understanding of spreadsheet and database applications
- Understanding and experience of CAFM systems is desirable.
