- Provide the production control and short‑term planning interface between operational, design and planning teams, including preparing programme submission documents and internal reporting.
- Monitor progress, record as‑built data and ensure timely progress information is provided to populate the contract programme for scheduled updates.
- Produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short‑term/lookahead programmes with designers, suppliers and on‑site trade contractors, and lead short‑term planning sessions.
- Work with suppliers to align their programmes to Skanska planning standards, agree constraints and calendars, and monitor supplier KPIs.
- Support the Senior Planner and project team to implement Production Control as a core project process and contribute benchmark data for future tenders.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven track record of construction experience with a good technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
- Experience on commercial office design & build projects circa £150m+ and proficiency in planning software such as Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6.
